Italian Seaways is the leader in Italy in the logistics sector with regard to the shipment of sea stores. The company was established in 1983 and has been dedicated since the beginning to this particular market and the completion of the relative customs procedures. Following rapid development in the demand for integrated services, the company has grown quickly in the areas of maritime, ground and air shipments.
It was precisely the know-how that the company acquired in the maritime sector that made it possible for it to diversify its services also in the general cargo sector. This is a natural expansion for a company that is constantly accustomed to delivering spare parts and goods of all types to a constantly moving “customer” such as a cruise or a cargo ship.
Currently, Italian Seaways has offices and warehouses in Genoa that cover 15,000 sq.m, employs 50 people and manages a network of independent carriers. Italian Seaways’ network of agents and correspondents covers the most strategic ports and locations on an international level.
