Italian Seaways’ warehouses cover a total surface of more than 15,000 sq.m both inside and outside of the Genoa port area. They have advanced security systems and the areas are often divided by individual customer based upon the customer’s requirements.
To avoid pointless additional costs, Italian Seaways also has Foreign Transit Warehouses that are equipped to maintain the foreign status of the goods until they reach their final destination.
Each customer is guaranteed accessibility to its own supply of goods through access in the login area. The information system used makes it possible for Italian Seaways personnel to respond 24x7 to all customer requests.
Italian Seaways warehouse managers are responsible for preparing a detailed list of all material in stock with personalized labeling. The list contains the following information that identifies the goods:

• landing PO number registered with the logistics provider;
• material description;
• material quantity;
• photographs of the material;
• provisional ship of origin;
• client software's code (if available);
• date of entering the warehouse;
• physical position in the warehouse;
• any remarks.
